Update

We have been very busy over the last couple of weeks.  Book Character day and Across America and our Read-A-Thon has kept us on our toes!  As we move into March we will continue to learn more heart words, writing more narrative stories and finishing up our math unit on Addition and teen numbers.

Next week we will be writing stories to our friendly little leprechaun, Patrick.  Patrick will be leaving clues searching for the pot of gold.  The students are becoming excellent writers.  I am impressing with their ability to sound out words, start with a capital letter and end their sentences with a punctuation mark.

Upcoming
  • No school tomorrow, Friday, March 10th for report card preparation.  Report cards should come home next week.
  • Friday, March 17th is BINGO NIGHT.  I will be putting Bingo cards in your child's homework folder on Monday.
  • Friday, March 24th, we will be celebrating our Read-A-Thon!  Thank you parents for all your support with our Read-A-Thon.  We ended up reading over 7,000 minutes!  Way to go Room 2.  On Friday we will also have an ALL pop day! Great way to head into Spring Break.
