Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

What great weather we had for our trip to the pumpkin patch!   I will be posting pictures soon!

Family Fun Night

Friday, October 17, is Ridgview's Fall Family night.  It starts at 5:00--The movie is FREE!
There will be a chili dinner $3.00 for adults and $2.00 per child.  The tickets for the concessions are .25 cents.

Pumpkin Patch

 We have scheduled our first field trip to Herrick's Farm on Thursday, October 16th.  Morning class will leave around 8:55 and the afternoon class will leave around 12:30.  The field trip will last about one hour.  The students will enjoy a hay ride, picking our a pumpkin, eating a fresh apples and have fun watching the animals.  We are so excited!!

Reading Groups

Your child is making progress in reading groups.  Please help your child learn the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make.  We have studied the letters: A,E,H, and K.  Next week we will study the letter letter M.  We are learning about tracking from left to right, listening to the sounds in words and beginning blending.
